As I take office as Head of the Italian Embassy, I would like to warmly welcome all of you to our website also on behalf of our staff.

For this reason we try to offer an agile, updated and easily accessible instrument which enables everyone to quickly find useful information on the relations between Italy and Zambia, procedures and consular services and on news and important events for the Italian community, for passing visitors and the many Zambians interested in our country. Within the site there are also updated fact sheets available for Botswana and Malawi.

Italy was once an important trading partner of Zambia. In a period of dynamic economic growth and political stability, Zambia offers interesting opportunities for entrepreneurs who wish to explore the development possibilities in this area of the African continent.

Therefore, my personal commitment is to promote and encourage greater Italian presence, promoting closer relations in all fields of mutual interest and try, at the same time, to constantly provide assistance, safeguarding and protection of our nationals.
