H.E. The Ambassador Claudio Pacifico

During the past years Claudio Pacifico has been Italian Ambassador in Dhaka, Khartoum and Tripoli. The core of is career has always been the Middle East area, since when, at the age of  thirty years old, he demonstrated his strong interest for this part of the World and distinguished himself by chosing the assignment of First Secretary at the Italian Embassy in Teheran. Some years later, Claudio Pacifico has been Director of the Middle East Desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome.
A long term experience has accustomed Claudio Pacifico to work in difficult conditions, and even in war country as it was Ethiopia when he was Embassy Counselor in Mogadiscio. Claudio Pacifico has covered prestigious charges at the Ministy of Foreign Affairs in Rome. He was General Director for Asian countries till August 2007. From 1st September 2007 Claudio Pacifico is Ambassador of Italy in the Arabic Republic of Egypt.
